Broken Record

My brother’s like a broken record.  He tells me about how we used to bike around the neighborhood pretending we were race car drivers, and how we’d gained multiple knee scrapes from turning the curb too fast. He’ll tell me this story twice, thrice, or even four times in a row, and laugh about the good ol’ days. I laugh with him, because though he doesn’t remember that he’s already told me this story for the fourth time in a row, he does remember the fun we had. My brother’s like a broken record, but I don’t mind one bit.

Trip to North Carolina Part 3: Great Smoky Mountains Railroad

The day after we went to The Island in Pigeon Forge amusement park in Tennessee, we went to the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad in Bryson City. The staff was nice and it was a peaceful ride on the train, though they had the same songs on repeat at times. The sights of the mountains, trees, and lakes were wonderful. I was eager to record and photograph as many things as possible. Eventually, my camera battery ran low and I had to use it sparingly until it finally went dead. It was great to go there with my family and see the beautiful scenery on the mountain.
